The catamaran Nina Elizabeth 39ft Fontaine-Pajot runs
between Utila and Roatan.
Leaves Utila for Roatan, Most Mondays
Leaves Roatan for Utila, Thursday maybe Friday.
Costs $50 one way, includes two drinks and
snacks.

Roatan Galaxy 2
The Galaxy 2 does not run on
Christmas 2006 day or new years day, other than that the timetable is
unchanged over the Christmas period.
Every day there is a Safeway Galaxy
ferry connection between La Ceiba on
the Honduras mainland to Roatan. It takes about 1 hour. You need to
be there at least 15 minutes before the boat leaves.

End to the new terminal.
Utila Princess
Over the last few months this service has been quite unreliable with
regular timetable changes, price changes and boat changes. So don't
take this as gospel but here is a guide: Brace yourself for the Dive
touts when you get off the boat, it's worse than Thailand The price
as of 21/2/07 is 380lps each way.

Bus

To catch the ferry to Roatan or Utila you need to get to
Le Ceiba.
Hedman Alas is a
very reliable comfortable bus service, you will come to Le Ceiba through
San Pedro Sula in most cases. There are services to San Pedro from
Copan, Antigua, Tegucigalpa, Guatemala City, San Salvador, Tela and San Pedro Sula
airport. Details of these services can be found on their
website. The 4am bus from Antigua
will get you to Le Ceiba in one day, (5am from Guat city) .
Here is an example schedule to get you from Antigua to the
Bay Islands using Hedman Alas. Copan to Le Ceiba or vica versa cost
$26.50, Antigua to Copan or Vica Versa $15.
